What is a whisper system?
A whisper system sends one person’s voice by radio straight into the listeners’ headphones. The speaker wears a transmitter with a headset and can talk at normal volume or even whisper. Everyone else listens through a small receiver, even when they stand a few metres away or when it is noisy all around.
The name comes from whispered interpretation: an interpreter translates quietly without disturbing the room, and only those who need the translation put on the headphones. Depending on the industry, the same equipment is also called a tour guide system, tour guide headsets or interpretation equipment.

How many devices do I need?
Plan one receiver per listener plus two or three spares. Add one transmitter per speaker and, for interpretation, one transmitter per language. The configurator adds the charging case automatically.

How much does it cost to rent a whisper system?
A receiver with headphones costs CHF 8, a transmitter with headset and lapel microphone CHF 50 and a charging case CHF 30 for the first day. Every additional day costs half. On top comes a one time charge for preparation and cleaning from CHF 50 and, if shipped, shipping from CHF 30. The configurator shows your fixed price straight away.
How does a whisper system work?
The speaker wears a transmitter with a headset. The voice is sent by radio to the receivers and the listeners hear it in their headphones. No cables or loudspeakers are needed.
Can I use the whisper system without a technician?
Yes. All devices arrive charged and set to the right channel. Switch on, put on the headphones, start talking.
How quickly will the whisper system reach me?
By post it arrives no later than two days before your event. If it is urgent, you can pick the devices up in Zollikofen near Bern, the next day at the earliest.
Do I pay for the shipping days?
No. You only pay for the days of your event. The devices arrive two days before and you have two days afterwards to send them back.
