Simultaneous interpretation with mobile equipment
With mobile interpretation equipment the interpreter speaks quietly into a headset with a transmitter. Listeners select their language channel on the receiver and hear the translation in their headphones. It works without a booth and without cabling, so the system is ready in a few minutes.
How many transmitters do I need?
One transmitter per target language. If German is interpreted into French and English, you need two transmitters. You only order receivers for the people who need the translation.

When a booth is the better choice
For long conferences, large halls or many languages, interpreters work better in a soundproof booth with fixed conference technology. Event-Solution runs such events with its own technicians.
For tours without translation, the same equipment works as a whisper system or as tour guide headsets.

Frequently asked questions about interpretation equipment
How much does it cost to rent interpretation equipment?
A receiver with headphones costs CHF 8, a transmitter with headset and lapel microphone CHF 50 and a charging case CHF 30 for the first day. Every additional day costs half. On top comes a one time charge for preparation and cleaning from CHF 50 and, if shipped, shipping from CHF 30. The configurator shows your fixed price straight away.
Do I need an interpreter booth?
No. The interpreter sits in the room and speaks quietly into the headset. For long or large conferences a booth is more comfortable though, and Event-Solution can arrange one on request.
How many languages are possible at the same time?
You need one transmitter per language, and each language runs on its own channel. For many languages, a short email to info@event-solution.ch is worthwhile.
Do you also provide interpreters?
Yes, on request Event-Solution recommends or arranges interpreters. Just write to info@event-solution.ch.
Do I pay for the shipping days?
No. You only pay for the days of your event. The devices arrive two days before and you have two days afterwards to send them back.
